Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
Hasten to do good deeds before six events: the Impostor, the smoke, the beast, the rising of the sun from the west, the general matter, and one’s private matter.
Hasten, all of you, to the achievement of your Lord’s forgiveness, and a paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, prepared for the God-fearing.
(3: 133)
On the Day when certain of your Lord’s signs do appear, believing will be of no avail to any human being who did not believe before, or who did not put its faith to good uses. Say: ‘Wait if you will; we too are waiting’.
(6: 158)
When the Word comes to pass against them, We will bring forth to them out of the earth a beast which will say to them that mankind had no real faith in Our revelations.
(27: 82)
Wait, then, for the Day when the skies shall bring forth a kind of smoke which will make things clear. (10) It will envelope the people. Painful is this suffering! (11) [They will cry]: ‘Our Lord! Relieve us from this suffering; for, indeed, we are believers’.
(44: 10-12)
