20 - The status of the Prophet’s companions

Abu Hurayrah narrated that God’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said:

Do not revile my companions. Do not revile my companions.  By Him who holds my soul in His hand, were any of you to spend the like of Mount Uḥud in gold, he would not equal the mudd of any of them, nor even half that.
