عن حُمْرَانَ، مَوْلَى عُثْمَانَ، أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ رضي الله عنه دَعَا بِوَضُوءٍ فَتَوَضَّأ،َ فَغَسَلَ كَفَّيْهِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، ثُمَّ مَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْثَرَ، ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، ثُمَّ غَسَلَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى إِلَى الْمِرْفَقِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، ثُمَّ غَسَلَ يَدَهُ الْيُسْرَى مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ، ثُمَّ مَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ، ثُمَّ غَسَلَ رِجْلَهُ الْيُمْنَى إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، ثُمَّ غَسَلَ الْيُسْرَى مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ،ثُمَّ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ نَحْوَ وُضُوئِي هَذَا،ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ نَحْوَ وُضُوئِي هَذَا، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَرَكَعَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ لَا يُحَدِّثُ فِيهِمَا نَفْسَهُ، غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ»، وزاد مسلم في رواية: «وَكَانَتْ صَلاَتُهُ وَمَشْيُهُ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ نَافِلَةً»

Ḥumrān, ‘Uthmān’s mawla narrated that: 

1. ‘Uthmān ibn ‘Affān called for water and he performed the ablution: he washed his hands three times, then rinsed his mouth and blew his nose. He then washed his face three times, then washed his right hand up to the elbow three times, then washed his left hand in the same way. He then wiped his head, then washed his right foot up to the ankle three times, then his left foot in the same way.  

2. He then said: ‘I saw God’s Messenger (peace be upon him) performing the ablution in a way similar to what I have done  

3. then God’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever performs the ablution in a similar way to what I have done now, then stands up and offers two rak‘ahs during which he thinks of nothing [other than his prayer] is forgiven whatever sin he did”’. 

4. Another version related by Muslim adds: ‘and his prayer and walk to the mosque will be a gain’.

Houmrane l’esclave affranchi de ‘Othmanerapporte que :1- ‘Othmane Ibn ‘ Affane, qu’Allah a agréé, demanda de l’eau pour accomplir ses ablutions et qu’il fit ses ablutions. Il lava ses mains trois fois, puis se rinça la bouche, aspira et expira de l’eau par le nez, puis il lava son visage trois fois, puis il lava son avant-bras droit jusqu’aucoude trois fois, puis il lava son avant-bras gauche le même nombre de fois, puis il essuya sa tête, puis il lava son pied droit jusqu’à la cheville trois fois, puis il lava le pied gauche de la même façon. 2- Il dit ensuite : J’ai vu le Messager d’Allah faire ses ablutions comme je l’ ai fait maintenant. 3- Puis il affirma que le Messager d’Allah dit : ‘‘ Celui qui fait ses ablutions comme je l’ ai fait maintenant, puis va accomplir deux unités de prière pendant lesquelles il n’a pas de pensées sortant de la prière, ses péchés passés lui sont pardonnés ’’. 4- Moslim ajouta dans une version du hadith : ‘‘ Et sa prière et son trajet à pied jusqu’à la mosquée lui sont comptés comme des œuvres surérogatoire’’ .

Dari Humran bekas budak Ušman,1. Ušman bin Affan  meminta dibawakan air wudu, lalu beliau berwudu. Beliau membasuh kedua telapak tangannya sebanyak tiga kali, lalu berkumur dan ber-istinšár , lalu membasuh wajah sebanyak tiga kali, lalu membasuh tangan kanannya sampai siku sebanyak tiga kali, lalu membasuh tangan kiri sampai siku seperti itu, lalu mengusap kepalanya, lalu membasuh kaki kanannya sampai kedua mata kakinya sebanyak tiga kali, lalu membasuh kaki kirinya seperti itu juga.2. Kemudian beliau berkata, “Aku pernah melihat Rasulullah ﷺ berwudu seperti wuduku ini.3. Kemudian Rasulullah ﷺ bersabda, ‘Barang siapa yang berwudu seperti wuduku ini, kemudian ia mendirikan shalat sebanyak dua rakaat, dengan khusyuk niscaya akan diampuni dosa-dosanya yang telah lalu.’”4. Imam Muslim dalam riwayat lain menambahkan, “Shalat dan jalannya menuju masjid terhitung sebagai amalan sunnah.” 

Kutoka kwa Humran, mawlaa wa Uthman,1- Amesimlia kwamba Othman bin Affan, Mwenyezi Mungu awe radhi naye, aliomba maji ya kutawadha, na akatawadha, akaosha vitanga vyake viwili vya mikono mara tatu, kisha akaweka maji mdomoni mwake na kupandisha maji katika pua yake, kisha akaosha uso wake mara tatu, Kisha akaosha mkono wake wa kulia hadi kwenye kiwiko mara tatu, kisha akaosha mkono wake wa kushoto vivyo hivyo, kisha akapangusa kichwa chake, Kisha akaosha mguu wake wa kulia hadi vifundoni mara tatu, kisha akauosha wa kushoto vivyo hivyo.2- Kisha akasema: Nilimuona Mtume Swalla Allaahu alayhi wa sallam anatawadha kama mimi.3- Kisha akasema Mtume Swalla Allaahu alayhi wa sallam: “Mwenye kutawadha kama udhuu wangu huu, kisha akasimama na kusali rakaa mbili ambazo haongei nafsini mwake, atasamehewa madhambi yake yaliyotangulia.”4- Na Muslim akaongeza katika riwaya: “Na itakuwa swala yake na kutembea kwake kuelekea msikitini ni ibada”  .
